TODAY 11/15 Northwestern will be hosting an on-campus info session on their Master of Science in Law program at 4pm, Galbraith Hall 253.
More about the program: The Master of Science in Law (MSL) degree, offered by Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law, is a master’s program designed especially for STEM graduates who are looking to broaden their horizons. While many STEM students have focused deeply on technical fields, not as many have had the opportunity to explore some of the corresponding disciplines that interact with their STEM work. The MSL is the first master’s degree to focus on the role that law, business, regulation, and policy play in the development of STEM fields. Through the MSL's robust curriculum, students learn to think more holistically, communicate across disciplines; navigate legal and regulatory structures that exist in STEM settings; bring ideas to market; develop and manage intellectual property; and advance innovation. The cross-disciplinary mindset of MSL graduates makes them more versatile in the job market and opens a wider array of professional opportunities. The program can be completed full-time in 9 months at Northwestern’s downtown Chicago campus, or part-time online in 2-4 years.
